At 30 yards a .177 pellet at 12ft lbs (say 840fps for something like an Eley Wasp) will easily go through the head of an adult rabbit, I shot 1000s many years ago with a 12ft lb Original 45. rats at that distance should be no problem providing the shot is suppported, the secret is HEAD shots and not chest shots. My old Original is still doing sterling service ratting for a friend.

There is no way any FEO would grant any sort of licence for a piece of land that small but if you can get the landowners onside you may win a bit of extra shooting rights as well. The FEO would in any case check with ajoining landowners anyway as part of his checks.
