Badger cull

Asking for the help for all UK countrysports people and shooters

As everyone knows the government is digging its heels in about implimenting the badger cull. Whilst these decision makers are sat in there offices in the middle of london making all the decisions and most have never even seen a real badger !
By getting a petition with 10 thousand signatures on it will make the difference of wether the cull goes ahead or not
Please do your bit by signing the form at
Ukgamekeeper.com
please note worldwide signatures will help also and if as many people from the shooting community from all over the world signs it will really help and we would appreciate it greatly!

Many thanks

Oh dear..........just what any self respecting anti would love to hear.

Have you any idea how many Badgers there are in the wild???
Have you any concept of how long it would take to round them up (not counting the ones that were rounded up multiple times).???
And have you any idea how many of them would continue to breed whilst this was being done???
Jeeze, I heard this from a stupid anti who wanted to do the same with rabbits. She just didn’t have a clue as to how impossible the task would be.

No Graham,
I have no idea how many Badgers there are in the wild, I think it's going to take a fair old while to round them up and vaccinate them, marking them would prevent duplicate vaccinations. If the effort were large enough per set, then it should be possible to do each set once only and missed animals shouldn't be a major problem. It would also create a few jobs in the counrtyside and avoid piles of dead badgers especially from the uneducated who attempt to shoot them and make a mess of it.

There are approximately 350,000 badgers in the UK and if you were to trap them at a rate of 50 per day (like heck) it would take you @ 18 years to catch them all, during which time they would have bred as many more again.
“Bridge”, “Forth” and “Painting” are terms that spring to mind.
