SatNav worries me sometimes, I have one and when you come to a road that has different from the screen you look around and use your own brain and figure out the best way forward, easy when you think about it.

I was in the car with my brothers girlfriend who uses her satnav for going to the corner shop and when the road is different to the satnav it is panic stations is it beyond some people to use or admit to their common-sense.

COMPUTER SAYS YES.........

"The crossing wasn't shown on the satnav, there were no signs at all and it wasn't lit up to warn of an oncoming train."

And as she had never seen railway tracks before she didn't know what they were.

Funnily enough Sat Nav does not work in Milton Keynes. We took six cars to Thames Police Driver Training and not one system worked, including Ford, Vauxhall and Toyota.

Milton Keynes eh? Crikey, you might have even rubbed shoulders with Wilton, without even realizing it...

Alan - I appreciate your concern about me rubbing shoulders with Wilton / Gaffa, but I never entered a sewer, so the possibility would have been very remote.
