Are forums & blogs of FAC holders watched?

This has been a point of discussion between some people I know, some say yes and some say no go's along way to letting us all know.

I for one will offer any support I can.

You can bet your arse they are - if for no other reason than the fact that the recurring subject-matter, by it's very nature, flags computer-generated alerts on key words & phrases down at GCHQ.

I hope he gets to keep his licence, I really do. I respect and admire his forthrightness and steadfast, un-PC defence of our Sport. He's posted some cracking stuff in his time, too.

Fingers crossed for Gunculture.

I would estimate that 100% of the population have said things they might wish they hadn't - myself included. Moments of angry response, slips of tongues, etc etc.

If the Police ever get to read peoples minds then a whole lotta jails gotta be built for the thoughts in the human mind.

Many many posts on the net are offensive to someone, it doesnt mean the poster is a criminal, but just perhaps a bit out of hand in a place where he or she believes they have anonymity.

It is a sad world when general conversation can be eavesdropped on and used in this way. Does this mean we all have to bite our tongues in here from now on? I know I have friends in here, but topics can be heated sometimes and even in friendly debate we have statements which could be miconstrued.

Perhaps all these forums should be closed and we should revert to talking when we meet. Not on the phone of course as I have to ask how much of our private conversation is being eavesdropped upon?

The reason I find this a bit hard to swallow is when I see criminals running rings around the Police and the community that has to put up with them - but no-one seems to be eavesdropping on them?

Priorities a bit mixed?

Yes, I'm well aware. That's why The Police sign, "Speed Check Area Ahead," one must have at least half a gramme, concealed about their person.
