hey all !!


hi everyone i am scott i have been shooting air rifles for a few years now and currently own a bsa ultra multi-shot, but i have some new permission in the pipeline with fox problems so will be applying for my fac and getting something with a bit more kick than my ultra... can anyone advise on what rifle?? thanks

you can go for a .17hmr or .22 hornet centre fire.

I would advise against the .17hmr for fox. Yes it will do the job, but there are occasions when it will be too far to shoot and if you only have a .17 then it will be tempting to take the shot …..with dire results.
The Hornet is a great little rifle BUT you do need to hand-load to make the best of the calibre because the factory ammo’ is either very expensive, or if you buy PPU ammo’, very poor.
Unless you can do these things it would be better to buy the .222 or the .223.
