Beretta 686E Second hand price

... continuing a post a I put up a week or so back - but in a sleightly different vein......

My uncle has the gun I am after (i,e Beretta 686E Sporting, 12g, Multi Choke, 30", adj stock) and it is in TOP condition, he has had it for about 12 months, had about 300 shots through it and has been cleaned after each shoot. Ive offered him £900 - mainly because I know how good it is and I know where its been. He said he would let me have it for this price.

Am I paying over the odds, getting a bargain or is it just about the right price ?

Moulty,you might do better on the price but you might spend £50 on fuel chasing around trying to save £50.So if it's what you want and it fits,the adjustable stock is big advantage here,then go for it.

I tend to agree with your comment about chasing one around - & you dont know how good it is until you get there !

I think I'll take it off him.
