For sale - Beretta 682.

I'm going to list this on the BBS, but I thought I'd let you lot have first dibs:

Beretta 682 Supersport 12ga
This is the plain black action model and features:

28” multichoked barrels with ventilated top and side ribs
Chambered for 70mm
Single-selective trigger ejector
Auto-safety
Nicely figured oiled stock & forend
Mobilchokes included are:
Skeet
¼
½
¾
Cylinder.

This gun has nicely figured walnut rarely found on newer models with only some slight scratches and a couple of very small dings from everyday use. Barrel and action blacking is even throughout. The action is nice and tight with no play, the trigger pulls are crisp, and the ejectors work faultlessly. Length of pull is standard Beretta at around 14 ¾”.

I have shot this gun week in week out for the past year, cleaned it after every use, and it has never let me down. It will make an excellent Sporter or Game gun for someone, and is reluctantly offered for sale to make way for a new gun.

I’m chucking in a Beretta cordura gunslip in blue and orange, and would prefer a face-to-face sale. I can travel to meet buyer any reasonable distance from Manchester.

£800.00 ovno.

Thanks for looking,

Mike.

Poor thing's gathering dust in the cabinet, bless her! Will no-one make this sad, unloved beauty feel wanted again?

I'd forgotten how nice the wood is on that - I finally got mine sold, took months! but I maintain that the 682 was a better gun that the 682 Gold E (which mine was) so hopefully you'll shift it. Not the best time of year to be selling guns though, end of season, hard up after Christmas and all that. I put mine in Malmo guns and agreed a percentage of what he got for it - he kept, that way he wasn't tempted to give it away to shift it.

Good idea Jonathan. I'm not in any rush to sell, I'd just rather it went to someone who'll appreciate it. I still love it, but you know how it is when you get a new one - it's just sat there, sulking in the cabinet!

Mike,

How much are you asking for the pool table?

Michael, it needs a total re-slate and re-covering. We can only play the good old-fashioned Northern sport of Crown Green Pool on it!
